Composer's Notes:
This is a simple setting of a wonderful tune and text by John Ylvisaker. I arranged it in 1990 for my adult church choir (a small choir at that time) at Bethel Lutheran Church in Northfield, MN. We have used it primarily during the offering or during the distribution at communion services. John's opening text begins " O Lord, you've given up your life for me; I give my life to you. And in the giving I receive the gift of giving, too."
