Composer's Notes:
I was commissioned by Miles (Mity) Johnson to compose this work for the brass members of the St. Olaf College Concert Band. The piece is scored for six trumpets (B-flat), eight french horns, two euphoniums (bass clef), six trombones and two tubas. It is quite demanding both technically and rhythmically. It was premiered under the baton of Tim Mahr in 1997.
